Clinical Supervision

Wilborn Clinical Services provides culturally-responsive individual, group, and triadic clinical supervision to pre-licensed clinical mental health counselors. Clinical supervision is a working alliance between a clinical supervisor and a counselor in which the counselor offers an account or recording of his or her work; reflect on it; receive feedback and where appropriate guidance. The goal of supervision is to facilitate ethical practice, competence, confidence and creativity that promotes clients’ welfare (Proctor, 2004). At WCS, supervision is tailored to your individual developmental needs in three key areas: intervention skills, conceptualization skills, and personalization skills. Please note that it is our complete desire and intent that you benefit from supervision, however we cannot guarantee any specific results. Should you have concerns about your experience, we will work collaboratively so that you can achieve your professional goals.
